Man Killed in Crash

On Saturday, April 13 around 4:52 a.m., Belton Police Department officers responded to a single-car crash on South Loop 121 and West Avenue O. The car was headed east on West Avenue O and drove straight through a right-turn only lane, crashing into a concrete barrier. The driver, 68-year-old Danny Woodson, was taken to Baylor Scott and White in Temple, where he was pronounced dead.
