Parks Master Plan

Something For the Whole Family...img1_resized
The City of Belton hosts, co-hosts, partners, and participates in many special events throughout the year. The goal for our events is to bring the community together and get families involved. Our events provide meaningful activities for children, and give families a reason to get out of the house. If you are looking for a great place to host an event, contact the Belton Parks and Recreation office. We can walk you through the steps. Belton is a beautiful city with the great amenities.

One Community One Dayimg6 resized 2019
One Community One Day is a hands-on, community-wide service project organized by Belton's Youth Advisory Commission and Parks and Recreation Department. The goal is to assist Belton residents who need assistance with yard work, painting or repairs. The event offers a chance for people to give back. It is an opportunity to divide into groups and lend a hand. Residents apply for assistance at the Harris Community Center, online through the city's website, or by filling out a form distributed with utility bills each January. Each year following a brief review process up to 20 homes are selected for assistance. Check back in January for assistance applications or to volunteer!
