Fire Department
IMG_7121asmall.pngWith a paid staff of 30 firefighters, the Belton Fire Department stands ready to deliver service 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. The full-time firefighters are supplemented by volunteer firefighters.

The Belton Fire Department covers 112 miles of Bell County for emergency medical service and 66 miles for fire protection. The Department has mutual aid agreements with many of the neighboring cities and area volunteer fire departments. In addition, we have disaster mutual aid agreements with Central Texas Council of Governments, which serves seven counties - Bell, Coryell, Lampasas, Milam, Hamilton, Mills and San Saba.
