NOLAN CREEK RECREATIONAL IMPROVEMENT PROJECT

CIMG1165.JPG      CIMG1165.JPG      DSC00189.JPG

Nolan Creek winds through the heart of Belton and connects many important areas of the city including three major parks, the University of Mary Hardin Baylor, and the historic downtown area.  The picturesque Hike and Bike Trail lines a significant stretch of the creek, with existing and future commercial development opportunities along the waterway in downtown.

The project has the potential to dramatically enhance the quality of the community by offering a unique recreational corridor with a kayaking/tubing whitewater feature, while promoting strong economic development potential.

*Donations to this project are tax deductible and may be made by submitting a check payable to the City of Belton, PO Box 120, Belton, TX  76513.
