Road and Lane Closures Planned for Three Belton Streets

Three Belton streets will be closed or have lane closures over the next two weeks. 

The most significant closure will occur during overnight hours on Sparta Road, between Loop 121 and Commerce. Lane closures to mill and overlay the entire road are set to begin tonight at midnight. Pilot cars or signage will be in place to allow traffic to travel from Loop 121 to Commerce/Industrial Park Road. The work is expected to last the entire week, but traffic will only be impacted when work is under way between 7 p.m. and 7 a.m.

The other closures are set to begin on Tuesday, Sept. 12, for Avenue C and Avenue H, both at Main Street. The streets are being closed to allow a hole to be bored for a waterline connection under Main Street. Avenue C is expected to be closed this week only, and Avenue H for up to two weeks. 

Main Street will remain open at all times.
