The Belton Police Department is looking for Belton citizens interested in hosting block parties for National Night Out on October 6.
Hosting a party is easy, and it’s a great way to meet neighbors and strengthen community spirit and police-citizen partnerships. It also sends a message to criminals that neighborhoods are
organized and prepared to fight back if necessary.
Those interested in hosting a block party should fill out a registration form. This
form can be found online at beltontexas.gov/nno or you may pick one up at the
front desk of the police department.
Registration deadline is September 15, 2015. Registered parties receive supplies and assistance from the Belton Police Department to help coordinate the party. If you have a question concerning
National Night Out please contact Sgt. Doug Taylor at 254-933-5840.
National Night Out is a campaign that involves citizens, law enforcement, civic
groups, businesses, neighborhood organizations and local officials from more than
15,000 communities in all 50 states.
