Planning and Zoning Commission Approves Zoning Change for Downtown Gun Store/Gun Range

The Planning and Zoning Commission passed an ordinance on Tuesday to change the zoning at 204 N. Penelope to allow a retail gun store and indoor shooting range. The store would also include a gunsmith shop and classroom space for Concealed Handgun License classes.

Belton City Council approval is still required. The Council will hold a public hearing and consider the ordinance at its next meeting on Tuesday, May 26.
