Automated Water Meters Could be Coming to Belton

The Belton City Council is considering entering into a $4.2 million contract with Siemens Industry to replace residential water meters with newer technology that allows meter reading to occur remotely. The Council anticipates making a final decision in the next few weeks but seeks public comment prior to making a decision.
