Belton Police are asking the public to help identify at least three people involved in two robberies over the weekend in Belton. Police believe the suspects may also have participated in recent robberies in Temple and Harker Heights.

At about 3:20 a.m. on Saturday, Belton police responded to a report of a robbery at Taylor's Valley CEFCO, 1702 Taylor's Valley Road. The victim told police two men and a woman entered the store with handguns and concealed faces and stole Newport cigarettes.

At about 10:29 p.m. on Sunday, Belton police responded to a report of a robbery at the Quick Pick Food Mart, 810 W. Avenue D. In that incident, the victim told police two black men entered the store with handguns and took Newport cigarettes. Police believe a third suspect stayed outside the business serving as a lookout. One of the men was wearing a hooded sweatshirt, the other a ski mask.

Temple police are investigating three robberies, the first of which was on Monday, Nov. 17, in which the suspects exhibited similar behavior to the Belton cases, including concealed faces, weapons, and stolen Newport cigarettes.

A robbery at approximately 9:45 p.m. on Sunday at Freddie's Steakburger, 490 E. Knights Way in Harker Heights also shared similarities with the Belton and Temple incidents.
