Belton PD Seeking Silver Santa Donations The Belton Police Department is partnering with local businesses to collect donations for its Silver Santa program, which provides Christmas gifts for Belton senior adults living alone. The program primarily benefits the more than 135 participants of the RU OK? program.

Those who are interested in supporting the third annual Silver Santa have a couple options. Donation boxes to provide items for gift baskets are available at the Belton Police Department, Belton PD's North Substation at H-E-B plus!, Belton Area Chamber of Commerce and McDonalds in Belton.

The following items are needed for the Silver Santa gift baskets:

New Lap Blankets New Gloves and Scarves Lip Balm Large Print Playing Cards Lotion Band Aids

New Socks  Hand Sanitizer Puzzles/Word Books Blank Journals Hair Brushes/Combs

New Hats Tissues Compact Mirrors Small Flashlights Therma Care Pads

Additionally, the Belton Walmart will have prepackaged gift bags available for purchase.
