Precautionary Boil Water Notice Rescinded

Precautionary Boil Water Notice Rescinded
August 22, 2018
The boil water order notice that was issued for the Leon, Hastings, and Hilltop Streets on Monday, August 20, 2018 has been rescinded. Those affected were notified by letter.

The order was issued prior to construction work on a new water line on Leon Street overnight on August 20-21, 2018. The new connection was successfully made, but water service was temporarily disrupted for some residents who live in the area. By law, the City is required to issue a boil order when water pressure is lost. Water service was restored by 5 a.m. on Tuesday, August 21, 2018.
