Precautionary Boil Water Notice Rescinded

Precautionary Boil Water Notice Rescinded
October 24, 2018
The boil water notice that was issued on Oct. 22, 2018 has been rescinded. The residents affected were notified via the City’s website, local news sources, social media, phone calls, and hand delivered notifications on the afternoon of Oct. 22, 2018.

The order was issued following an 8-inch water line break around the 200 block of the N. I-35 frontage road on October 22, 2018. While the repair was made, water service was temporarily disrupted for some businesses east of I-35 between Nolan Creek and the Leon River. By law, the City is required to issue a boil order when a repair requires such measures. Water service was restored by 11: p.m. on Oct. 22, 2018.
