Filing Period is Under Way for a Place on the 2017 General Election Ballot
Residents seeking a place on the ballot must file an application at City Hall between January 18, 2017, and February 17, 2017.Councilmembers are elected to two-year terms. Councilmembers meet in regularly scheduled meetings twice a month, and receive $1 annually for their service.
Terms for the following councilmembers are set to expire in May:
- Mayor Pro Tem David K. Leigh
- Councilmember Craig Pearson
- Councilmember Jerri Gauntt
- Councilmember Dan Kirkley
