The City of Belton hosts, co-hosts, partners, and participates in many special events throughout the year. The goal for our events is to bring the community together and enhance quality of life. Our events provide meaningful activities for children, and give families a reason to get out of the house. If you are looking for a great place to host an event, contact the Belton Parks and Recreation office. We can walk you through the steps. Belton is a beautiful city with the great amenities.

One Community One Day
April 6, 2019
One Community One Day is a hands-on, community-wide service project organized by Belton's Youth Advisory Commission and Parks and Recreation Department. The goal is to assist Belton residents who need assistance with yard work, painting or repairs. The event is a chance for people to give back. It is an opportunity to divide into groups and lend a hand. Residents apply for assistance at the Harris Community Center, online through the city's website, or by filling out a form distributed with utility bills each January. Each year following a brief review process up to 20 homes are selected for assistance. If you are a resident in need of assistance, please fill out the Assistance Form. If you are a part of a group that wants to assist volunteer efforts, please fill out the Group Volunteer Form.
