Under the general direction of the Building Superintendent, the Maintenance Technician I assists in the planning and organizing of work activities and provides general maintenance support for City buildings and facilities. Assists with ensuring scheduled maintenance is completed and coordinates projects with the Building Superintendent. Performs general maintenance and repair of systems, which include, but are not limited to heating, ventilation and air conditioning, electrical, and plumbing. Knowledge of basic general building maintenance is required. Must have the ability to work independently. A High School diploma, or equivalent, is required, as well as a valid Class C Texas driver's license.
