TxDOT to Close Lane of SH 317 on Leon River Bridge Overnight on Sunday

TxDOT has announced a temporary lane closure on the SH 317 bridge over the Leon River on Sunday, March 26. The closure will allow crews to place bridge beams on an adjacent structure that is under construction at the location 

The closure will take place beginning at 7 p.m. on Sunday, March 26. Travel delays are anticipated as flaggers and pilot cars will assist with overnight traffic control. The road is scheduled to reopen by 7 a.m. on Monday, March 27.

The bridge construction is part of a $16.8 million project to widen SH 317 from two to four lanes from FM 2305 in Temple to FM 439 in Belton.
