Precautionary Boil Water Notice Rescinded

The boil water order that was issued on Oct. 5, has been rescinded. The affected residents were notified via the City’s website, local media, the City’s reserve 9-1-1 system (CodeRed) and social media notifications on the morning of Oct. 5.

 The order was issued following a water main break along I-35, near 1005 E. Central Ave. on Oct. 4. While the repair was made, water service was temporarily disrupted for property owners within the area east of SH317/Main Street, south of E. 10th, north of Nolan Creek, and to the eastern City limits. Water service was restored by 3 p.m. on Oct. 5.
